Interaction

IsolationCare App

The theme of my project is interaction design for the Post-Pandemic era. It aims to encourage and help users complete home isolation after a positive COVID-19 test by developing an application with a gamification design. IsolationCare App transforms a difficult and stressful concept of self-isolation into a user-friendly “simulation game” concept. The project incorporates design elements such as “milestones”, “leaderboards”, and “challenges” from the game into the App.

Overview of Final Design Concept

My project is designed to encourage and help users to complete home isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 through app development and design. The app’s core features are a progress bar and simulation game for the user’s isolation period and an isolation diary to help the user manage and detect their emotions and symptoms during the isolation period. Secondly, the app sets a series of user challenges based on things that can help improve their mood and symptoms during isolation. Finally, there is the donation feature, where the app rewards users with rainbow stones based on their contributions, which can then be used to help people in need.
